Cookie Policy

Cookies are text files created automatically by web browsers when you visit or use websites. They are sent by the website and saved on the user’s device. Through them, the administrator receives information that, among other things, enables the site to function correctly, ensures security, and improves its performance.

Within our websites, we use the following types of cookie files:

  • Necessary/Technical: These files are necessary for the website to function correctly. They are installed in particular to remember login sessions or to fill in forms, as well as to remember whether you have been informed about the use of cookie files. 
  • Functional: They remember and adapt the platform to your choices, e.g., they allow the automatic completion of the email address most recently used to log in to the platform.
  • Analytical: They allow us to check the number of visits and traffic sources. Through them we are able to determine which pages are popular and which are not. Through them we study statistics and improve the performance of our sites. Within our sites we use, among others, solutions provided by Google.
  • Marketing – They allow the advertising content displayed to be tailored to the user’s interests, not only within our portal but also outside it. They may be installed by advertising partners. Based on information from these cookie files and activity on other websites, a profile of the user’s interests is built.
  • Social media cookie files: These are cookie files installed by our partners in order to tailor the advertising content displayed on social media. Based on them, a profile of the user’s interests is built. As a result, the content displayed is tailored to the individual needs of the user. 

Session cookies – are stored on the device in use until the site is left, e.g., by closing the web browser.

Persistent cookies – exist until manually deleted or until the time set in the browser expires.

Type of data collected

These include:

  • the IP address of the device used by the user
  • device type
  • time spent on the site
  • actions taken on the site
  • the location from which the connection is made
